She's a Fleeting Fox

They said you will make friends in college. But I don't really like anyone here. I haven't found that awesome person I can do everything with. There are nice people, but nobody like me. It sucks.

Two years later, I still end up alone. I'm probably going to wind up friendless altogether anyway. Holly has changed so much since she started going to State. I've never been this distant from her even though she's less than 10 minutes away. We barely talk, and the only time she texts me is when it's about boy troubles. I'm glad you like my advice, but I shouldn't be used for just that. And Cody. I know I live 2 1/2 hours away but you could at least act like you want to come see me. Maybe you'll make up some excuse to leave again. I just don't get you sometimes either.

Am I really a bad friend? While everyone has become stronger and more independent, all I really want is a friend to lean on and someone to go home to. I understand people get busy but...it'd be nice to have someone there all the time.
