Watching Elizabethtown reminds me of when I was younger and I thought I was going to fall in love in some grandiose way and meet the man of my dreams who was down on his luck because he got fired but he was brilliant and I was coy and smart and skinny (far from true) and blonde but...

that didn't happen. The older I get, the more I learn about the world. Yes, it is beautiful..but it is cruel and a lot of what is portrayed in movies is so beyond false I will not sit here and say that it is. It's been awhile since I've realized that..but it's true. I don't think anything is more true than everything I thought life would be..is not.

And it's perfectly fine.
